Does anyone know how I could do an experiment to work out at what angle can objects can defy static friction and by what different materials can be used.... if you dont understand say so and i will try to explain more simply
Well, they don't actually defy friction. What you're asking is at what point will gravity's pull on an object overcome the static friction. I don't know the answer off hand, but I might be able to come up with the answer.
A board, a book, and a protractor. Pick an angle, set the board at that angle, set the book on the board. Find the angle at which the book slides down the board.
