Hair color and chlorine pool concerns?

I have dark greenish teal/turquoise-ish colored hair (not completely, around 80% colored). I love to swim and when it gets hot here, Im wondering what will a chlorine pool do to it? Will it make the color fade to green or a yellowish green since the hair was bleached before the color was put in? (plus, I'm a bit concerned about going in the water and having the blue dye go everywhere.. that would be embarassing!). If I have to end up wearing a swim cap, I will, but would I get weird tan lines around my head? And I heard that they don't keep your hair completely dry. Is there a way I can maximize the protection of my hair as much as I can?

My hair (its a bit lighter in person):

@ghostieghosts,
It should be fine but may bleed a bit in the h20 especially if the waters warmish/hot. You can apply a leave in conditoner to your hair thenaffix the swim cap for max protection.

Stylists usually have a gloss clear coat they can apply to fresh fashion color for minimal costs. Its usually cost effective, et with heat, provides a coating of shine and seal just like clear coating your nails. It wears off in time jut like the polish does too.
