Ric Ocasek, Lead Singer of The Cars, Dead in New York at 75

I remember early Cars, and how they bent punk back to power pop through New Wave. Probably the first track I ever heard was Just What I Needed. I was pretty much over them after Let's Go - but Drive was an interesting diversion.

I enjoyed his quirky music, and sorry to hear of his death.
