Finding someone in Norway

When I was 15 (in 1986) I visited Norway and stayed with a host family for 4 weeks in Trondheim. I have such fond memories but have lost track of my friends. Their last name was Stolen (really an O with a \ across it). I don't speak a bit of Norwegian but would love to discover a way to find them again. Anyone out there with an idea or two?

Feel free to respond via e-mail, it is in my profile.

In Tronheim you'll find many with the name of Stølen via the Norwegian Telefonkatalogen (telefon directory).

Hope, that helps a bit - good luck!

And welcome to A2K, of course!

Thank you
That did it! I think I may have found her parents name on there. I will send a letter out today.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
