When will somebody show Trump this.

Not so long ago Boris called Trump stupid, ignorant and unfit for office.
He claimed Trump was out of his mind.
Surprisingly astute of Boris.

Why has nobody shown this to the thin-skinned orange one.

It's an open goal.

Perhaps if the thin skinned orange one seen this it might nip this unholy blond bromance in the bud.

@eurocelticyankee,
The Guardian is brilliant. Johnson was a **** mayor, he presided over riots, wasted money on some shitty bridge that was never completed and water cannons. The only good thing he's known for, "Boris Bikes" were actually commissioned by his predecessor Ken, Livingstone.

He's an even shittier pm, lets hope we can remove him with a no confidence vote, have a general election and cancel Brexit.

@izzythepush,
I don't know, more likely the Brexiteers come out of an election with a stronger mandate.

CNN should run this Boris interview on a loop or the Democrats should run it as an ad on Fox.

@eurocelticyankee,
It's hard to tell, there's lots of disinformation about at the moment. One favourite tactic of the brexiteers is to count Labour votes as pro brexit votes.

The facts are that there is a huge generational shift. It's the old people who are pro brexit, the young want to remain. Since the referendum more leave voters have died than remain and those replacing them are more likely to vote remain.

Not only that people were lied to during the referendum, lies about the NHS and lies about brexit being easy, not to mention the horror stories about American food being sold over here.

You have to ask yourself why brexiteers are so opposed to a second referendum if they think it's that secure.

@izzythepush,
Yeah but the grey vote get out and vote whereas the youth generally don't.

Granted a second referendum might be different but if the remain were to win it would have to be decisive, min 60%.
I don't see that, more likely a remain win similar to the original 52% - 48% and you're back where you started.

Labour have been a disaster and now the opposition (remainers) are arguing among themselves.

I just don't see a 2nd ref happening. There's to much water under the bridge now. Your press it seems is mostly pro-brexit, full of anti Irish and anti Euro rhetoric. Too many insults, too many lies and at this stage i think most people are sick of it and just want it done and dusted

You're most likely to crash out on the 31st. I reckon.

Back to the Boris interview, i bet if the Republicans had ammo like this they wouldn't hesitate in using it.

@eurocelticyankee,
The brexiteers love all that. They're not the generation who fought in the war, they voted remain. The brexiteers are primarily made up of those who were kids during the war or who were born just after.

That generation was brought up on stories of wartime derring do and larks. That's the problem, they think that because we 'won,' we deserve some sort of prize, we should be put in charge.

If Farage was made EU president his opposition to the EU would disappear faster than a milkshake leaves its cup.

I think you're right, we'll crash out, it will be a complete disaster and we'll either have to go back to the EU with worse terms than before or become America's vassal state/ 51st State.

That really frightens me.

Actually you've just stumbled on one of my bugbears. I appreciate your tag, but, if say three months later I want to add something I'll have one hell of a job finding it. That's the case with this thread.

https://able2know.org/topic/451026-1

It's about the far right in Britain, but Contrex tagged it with the names of banned far right activists. That means terms like UK politics/European politics/neo Nazis/far right politics don't yield any results.

Could you add a couple of tags to this thread, ones that will help find it later on, please?

@izzythepush,
I could never understand why ordinary working and middle class voters vote for these toffs who have no idea what everyday life is like.
In most cases have never known hardship, have never known poverty.
They have absolutely nothing in common with ordinary people yet for some reason ordinary working class people vote for them.

This so called deal Trump and Bolton are promising is a mirage.

A lie that they cant possibly deliver on.

Look on the bright side, if you become the 51st state think of all the guns you can own.

@eurocelticyankee,
I've just started The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists, it starts with a similar question as why so many working class people despise Socialism.

The middle classes think they'll be better off, low taxes etc, nimby politics. Working class tories tend to be racist.

My dad's MP is Jacob Rees Mogg, he bloody loves him!

@izzythepush,
I've read it. I actually read a few chapters sitting at his grave.
He's buried at the back of a city farm in Walton, Liverpool.
A mate used to run the farm back in the day.

Rice Lane city farm. Trev RIP.

@eurocelticyankee,
I've just started. It arrived unannounced two days ago in the post. I know who sent it, but she'd not said, and there wasn't a card or anything.

I texted thanks on receipt.
