Taking apart PocketPC

I'm trying to take apart an ASUS PocketPC but there is one screw thats giving me trouble. The screw is extremely tight and refuses to loosen no matter how much I try to twist it. How do I get the thing out? I'm using a 1mm flat head screwdriver which is the only size that will fit.
