Actually, I have a 3-panel bathroom mirror with a cabinet behind it. The past few years it has rusty continuously. So, what can I do? Replace, repair or any cleaning tips?

Repaint with a paint compatible with the cabinet according to paint makers recommendations. Then clear coat.
