Pretty hard to fault anything that has ever come out of Knopfler's amp.

Without going through Derek Trucks' catalogue, here's one lead in both subtle and deft

Yes. Great recording (though over the years I came to prefer his collaboration with Ali Farka Toure).

I was searching last night for this tune......I absolutely love this song. I have a recording from the old "Midnight Express" TV show where she does an extended version of this lead in.....it just takes you away....what amazing talent. (Crazy on you, by Heart)
