The Riders can make up some ground on A.Verage with a win.
The quest for mediocrity goes on!

Funny it was the Maniacs that brought your good run to an end last week and look at them this week.
They rolled over for the Lads with a mere 9 pts.
No doubt they'll bounce back against the Unforgiven (sigh).
Hopefully the Scopys will give the Lads a better game next round.

By the by the next round starts tomorrow and don't forget Liv & W/Ham play twice this round.

The Scopy's are 10 pts behind the Lads and their chances of catching up are hampered by the loss of Mane.
Both have 2 Liv Players to play but again the Lads hold the advantage as 1 of their players is their Captain.

Week 25 begins 1st Feb.

Ouch! 10 minutes from my captain over two games. It's a massacre, a conspiracy and...a massacre.

Painful. I had Mane too, but not as captain.
Unforgiven and the Lads did well to captain Salah.
The Riders captained T A-A, and tripled up on him.

Man, those Wee Lads are cleaning house.

The Midnight Riders would love to issue a challenge,
but we're stuck between a ghost and a mathematical construct.

With Mane out, I picked Leicester City's young Barnes for my team and he duly scored. "Suck on that, Wee Lads" I roared at the TV screen. My wife left the house and hasn't returned.

Two games to play in week 25. (Bur V Ars & Tott V Man C)

The Unforgiven are comfortably above A.Verage and with 2 players to play look good to win.
Fav - Unforgiven.

Likewise the Scopy's are looking good against the Maniacs most of whom are injured.
The Scopys have 41 pts and De Bruyne (MC) to play while the Maniacs have 18 pts (7 by VC) and 3 players likely to play.
But the Maniacs even with the extra players will find it hard to close the gap.
Fav - Scopys.

The Wee Lads have 34 pts and their Cpt De Bruyne (MC) to play while the Riders have 49 pts and De Bruyne (MC) and Wood (BUR) to play.
That's a 15 pt gap so the Lads would need at least a hat-trick from De Bruyne. Highly unlikely.

If my predictions are right (of course they are) it looks like the Riders will finally move up a spot. Very well done.
