schluss angel (Walter might know)

Can someone help my friend with this one?

On a recent visit to Germany she bought a lttle ornament alled a Schluss Engel (angel) (spelling may be wrong)she knows that there is a legend about these angels, but can't emember it. Can anyone please help. Thanks
