hey everyone,

ive got a project Crying or Very sad

i dont no what to do for it, it says

Your task is to investigate the angle needed to overcome static friction between different materials."

i need to do the prelimnary report like soon, n it says i have to state a aim, hypothesis, Risk Assesment.

IF YOU COULD REPLY IT WOULD BE GREAT BECAUSE I NEED THE HELP!

Weigh and measure the object (the sliding contact area). Determine the static friction of the object by moving it with a force parallel to the surface. This will be the force expressed by the object just before it starts to move.

Then start with a force vector perpendicular to the object and sliding surface (all force is normal to the surface), then keeping the force magnitude constant, vary the angle between the object and the surface. At some angle the static friction will be overcome and the object will start moving, record this angle and force magnitude.

Repeat process with another constant force magnitude.
