Nonsense I stated that Jefferson was not kind an was very very insulting to the English ambassador not that he made any sexual comments to the man wife!!!!!!!!!!!

That unfriendly behaviors was more then enough for the ambassador not wishing to have his wife along with him.

You are the one who added the sexual comments out of no where.

We were in the war from the beginning, remember, we didn't turn up half way through.

Our culture has resulted in two female prime ministers.

Your culture greatest prime minister was half American an the moment after he led your nation to victory you voted him out of office!!!!!!!!

Hell we had more respect for the man then your nation people did an to show it we gave him honorary US citizenship.

That's not what you said at all. We have a thing called the English language over here. Try using it properly.

@BillRM,
I see you've gone into meltdown. It's like the fall of Saigon all over again.

Churchill offered nothing, he deserved to lose. That's why we've got UHC and you've got the shittest healthcare in the developed World.

Churchill was re-elected afterwards, something you conveniently ignore.

Feel free to cut an paste my comments as no where did I state that Jefferson made one sexual comment to the man wife.

You have an interesting mind to be able to pull such a claim out of thin air.

LOL you fools fired him instead of allowing him to take part in setting up the shape of the post WW2 world.

The fact that your nation later woke up an re-elected him does not removed the harm done in not having his wisdom at such a time.

An where oh where was there any statements that Jefferson made sexual comments to either the man or his wife????????

Treated badly as in very unfriendly does not repeat does not imply for most normal and not sexual hung up persons a sexual nature to the behaviors.

I will try to keep in mind for the future that if there is a way to bring sex into any comments you will do so.

@BillRM,
What do think expose means?

Quote:
expose

/ɪkˈspəʊz,ɛkˈspəʊz/

verb

verb: expose; 3rd person present: exposes; past tense: exposed; past participle: exposed; gerund or present participle: exposing

1.

make (something) visible by uncovering it.
"at low tide the sands are exposed"

synonyms: reveal, uncover, lay bare, bare, leave unprotected
"the gold covering was flaking away, exposing the white plaster"

Try to say what you mean instead of expecting people to be mind readers. I just responded to what you said. If you meant something else you should have said that or asked someone who can construct a sentence to do so for you. Although from what I've heard that's not easy in Florida.

You got to be kidding me in this case it mean being at the same gathering with her husband an hearing the attacks on her husband by Jefferson as is she was exposed to Jefferson attacking her husband and have nothing to do with having cloths taken off.

in a vulnerable position or situation.
"the army's exposed right flank was under attack"
synonyms: vulnerable, defenseless, undefended, unshielded, susceptible; rarepregnable
"the army's left flank was exposed"

Reading your mind is similar to reading a triple X sex book an I will try to keep that in mind in the future.

@BillRM,
Not the way you expressed it.

If you had meant to say that you should have said.

He treated the ambassador an his wife of your nation so badly that the ambassador refused to expose his wife to the ambassador's behaviour.

You see the difference.

As for XXX, you're the one who pmd me about the availability of pornography over here.

You need to say what you mean, not something close.

Admittedly your English is a darn sight better than when I first got here but you're still making very rudimentary errors.

You probably would have been better off avoiding expose altogether.

How about this? Jefferson treated the ambassador and his wife so badly that the ambassador refused to take his wife to any functions where Jefferson would be in attendance.

It's not that difficult, you just need to put a bit of thought into what you write, and not be so ambiguous.

Sorry my mind unlike your does not work in the manner that a common word such as exposed is turn into having an odd sexual meaning that does not even made sense.

Jefferson taking or having the cloths taken off of wife of the UK ambassador in the white house. UK being at the time the most powerful nation on earth.

The whole concept is so silly that even most persons who have very dirty minds seems not likely to come up with such craziness.

@BillRM,
Your mind doesn't construct sentences properly. The way you phrased it you had Jefferson behaving like Caligula.

It has nothing to do with my mind, and everything to do with how you express yourself.

You're a grown man, if you want to discuss things seriously, you really should take more care.

@BillRM,
Sorry, after telling you to take more care I've made a mistake of my own. It should have read.

He treated the ambassador an his wife of your nation so badly that the ambassador refused to expose his wife to Jefferson's behaviour.

Sorry, but it's a hot Saturday afternoon and I'm drinking beer with my kids, (both over 18).
