My mom fell the day before yesterday in the middle of the night and hit her nightstand with her hip. She had a decent superficial scratch that night and I doctored it with anti bacterial ointment. The next morning it was bruised all around the area. Now today the bruise is significantly larger and is spreading to her abdomen.

Please take her to the emergency room.
