It's a new hair spray mousse I bought, I was checking the ingredients and saw that it has Diazolidinyl Urea in it. Is it not good for your hair? I googled it and the article says that Diazolidinyl Urea may be safely used in cosmetic products at the minimum effective concentration, not to exceed 0.5%.
THE INGREDIENTS IN THIS:
Water/Aqua/Eau, Hydrofluorocarbon 152a, VP/VA Copolymer, Dimethyl Ether, Isopentane, PVP, PEG-12 Dimethicone, Polysorbate 80,Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Oleth-20, Butylether Hydroxypropyl Sultaine, PPG-5Ceteth-20, Carbomer, Diazolidinyl Urea,Fragrance/Parfum, Benzyl Salicylate, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Citronellol, Eugenol, Geraniol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Hydroxycitronellal, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde, Limonene, Linalool, Sodium Hydroxide, Benzophenone-4, Tetrasodium EDTA, Tetrahydroxypropyl Ethylenediamine.
@Bebebabeblue,
EDTA will increase the solubility of Flourocarbon 152, and its a great chelation agent (I dont know what that does for this stuff). I dont like Flourocarbon anything epecially s a topical rub.
That product is on hell of a chemistry set, and most of them are lab versions of natural substances .
According to Wikipedia it causes an allergic reaction in some people.
