OK, let me explain my situation: I am FREAK OUT, I begin to think there GHOST in my TV now.
MY TV, just couple days ago. CHANNEL 11, start to speak Spanish, Weird thing is. ONLY NEWS time. Other times like Movies and Commercials, channel 11 still speak English. I check all the setting and everything, my language is under English.
Weird thing is, ONLY Channel 11 speak Spanish, ALL my other channels speak English like NORMAL. I mean if it my setting then all my channels should be speaking Spanish, but how come ONLY Channel 11 DURING NEWS TIME, LET ME REPEAT, IT ONLY SPEAKS SPANISH DURING NEWS TIME.
I have 2 other TVs at home, the other 2 TV, channel 11 speak English, cuze I turn in all 3 to compare today. It just weird, and this is not funny, please don't scare me.
How can I fix this plz.

I think that you need some advice from one of A2Ks electronics gurus, but it is probably just a glitch. Don't worry about it.

I had a VHS of "A Fish Called Wanda". which I lent to a neighbor. He brought it back, saying that it was in Spanish. I put it on my player, and it was in English. We then went back to his house, and sure enough, it played back in Spanish.

The only explanation that I could have is that there is a Spanish track on the video. His VHS player is probably a little "off". so it accessed the Spanish instead of the English track.

Another thought. Is it possible that the station sends out its news programs in Spanish?

It can't be, cuze for the past 3 years I have this TV, it all speaking English ALWAYS.
Just started of 2 days ago, it begin to speak Spanish, in a very low tone voice, ONLY during News time and NO OTHER TIME. The rest of the other time that is NOT news, they all speak English. Weird , JUST ONLY channel 11 though, no other Channel.

You might have an illegal alien living in your television.

OK, I don't believe in those stuff OK. Am sure there a logical explanation for this. Maybe the channel is in Double language and somehow I touch the Sound button, that why I hear spanish, cuze that channel have spanish available and others don't.

Don't believe in what stuff? Illegal aliens? They're everywhere.

Back on topic, the "Second Audio Program", or SAP, is what you are referring to. It's possible your TV has the ability to select the SAP for certain channels, and perhaps that got switched on for 11.

What make and model is the TV? What is your signal source, and how is it routed to the set? Is there a VCR or other external box installed that uses the signal as well?

td, cjhsa was trying to make a little joke before he tried to explain to you what might be going on with your t.v.

He then asked you some questions that might help people figure out what's happened to your t.v.

All kinds of little adjustments you make, without realizing it, can effect the settings of your t.v.

oh sorry, my english is not good, so sorry for the misunderstanding.
but i dont know, my tv is like 3-4 yrs old. i lost the remote control, so i end up buying those international remote control and then set it to my mitsumisee code then use it.......it just regular, there are not that much complicated button there.........
i did check the setting of audio though, i was on English, it just weird......
wat am thinking is that, maybe that channel 11 news have Dual language, so that explain why only when it come to news that when it speak Spanish, while other movie or commericial doesn't.
but i dont know what i press, cuze i hardly use remote control, all i use is those basic button on the tv, like vol, up and down channel and On and Off TV and that it.

it weird, cuze now that the only channel speak spanish, all my other channels are fine, now i have to use the other TV to watch news cuze the one i have keep speak Spanish.

It's easy to change the settings on the t.v. when you're not paying 100%. I recently set 2 channels to be closed-captioned. Took about 3 days to get that removed.

What brand is your t.v.?

Where are you located? Is there a dealer nearby you could go ask? I suspect it is a Mitsubishi, so any Circuit City or Best Buy should be able to help you.
