Hey!
I have a super hard question on a math worksheet. Using the digits 1 through 9 make a true statement.
?x?x?x?x?x?divided by ? divided by ? + ?=100
Any Help will be greatly apreicated I have hard a veryhard time with this
If I understand you correctly, to restate the problem we could say:
(A x B x C x D x E x F / G / H ) + I = 100
where A through I are unique integers between 1 and 9, inclusive.
Is that what the problem is truly asking for?
If so, if each element '?' in your equation is a unique single digit (as I assumed)
then the equation is not solveable. I have a proof of that, if you want to go into it.
So, there's more to the problem than has been stated.
Ques#1) Can each number '?' in the equation contain more than one digit?
Like "5*72/36"
Ques#2) Can digits be used more than once?
Like "12*12/144"
Ques#3) Can we use decimal points anywhere we want?
Like "14.5 * 2"
Ques#4) Can we use parentheses anywhere we want?
Like "6 * 4 / 2 / ( 5 + 7 )"
The problem can't be done without defining those assumptions first.

The question might be
A x B x C x D x E x F / G / (H + I) = 100
though that seems impossible as well since 100 = 5^2 * 2^2 and there are not two sources for 5's.
