HEY EVERY ONE, I REALLY REALLY NEED HELP. WOULD YOU PLEASE HELP ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS,

Evaluate the importance of ongoing research into the reduction of friction.

AND

Choose at least two situations and explain the effects of friction associated with the situations. EG re-entry of Apollo 13, Meteorites entering the earth's atmosphere, sand paper on a piece of wood, Re-entry of the space shuttle and car breaks.

Oh my, we've got another one...

You should try the search feature. Search "friction", limit to the science forum, and look for posts with posters named Bri or some such:

So, is this some sort of school assignment or quiz or something? I never can get a straight answer.
