Many TV shows have memorable theme songs. Write down part of a TV or radio theme song (a part that does not have the name of the show in it). Members guess the name of the show, and the star of the show. The person who guesses correctly, will ask the next question.
I'll start:
Quote:Rain and wind and weather
Hell-bent for leather
Wishin' my gal was by my side.
All the things I'm missin',
Good vittles, love, and kissin',
Are waiting at the end of my ride
Sesame Street
Stars--Big Bird, Ernie, Cookie Monster, Elmo, et al.
Who can turn the world on with her smile?
Who can take a nothing day, and suddenly make it all seem worthwhile?
Well it's you girl, and you should know it
With each glance and every little movement you show it
Love is all around, no need to waste it
You can have the town, why don't you take it
You're gonna make it after all
You're gonna make it after all
Frankie Laine sang the theme song from Rawhide.
phoenix, forgot about the star. don't know who the "main star" was, but you were referring to Clint Eastwood. by the way, Frankie Laine still sings, now & then, not sure how old he is, but it's at least 80!
Welcome Back Kotter.
Gabe Kaplan is now hosting poker tourneys on cable TV.
Next:
"Speed of lightning power of thunder "
"Speed of lightning, roar of thunder."
It was a cartoon.
One of the main villains is a dead ringer for our new pope.
"Speed of lightning, power of thunder"
Was UNDERDOG, voiced by, I believe, Wally Cox?
Villain Simon Bar Sinister (aka Benedict XVI?)

Nicely done...Correct, correct , and correct.
Your turn.
"Where Cxxxx adores a minuet,
The Ballet Russes, and crepe suzette,
Our Pxxxx loves to rock and roll,
A hot dog makes her lose control --
What a wild duet!"
I knew it as the Patty Duke Show. It might have hade another name originally.
"There's a hold up in the Bronx, Brooklyn's broken out in fights..."
Ah, that's Car 54, Where are you? - starring Fred Gwynne.
And in that vein,
They're creepy and they're kooky
mysterious and spooky
they're altogether ooky

The Addams Family of course. John Astin, Carolyn Jones , Jackie Coogan as the stars.
I was holding out, hoping someone else would chime in.
"Keep your eye on the sparrow, when the going gets narrow."
I think that is Baretta.
The following is one of my sister's all time favorite TV shows, but then she has no taste:
When you find your own true love you will know it
By his smile, by the look in his eyes.
Some set pine trees in the air
Or some stand around and stare
Look out everyone, XXXX XXXX XXX XXXXXX.
