Hi,

A friend of mine who is fan of band asked me to find out about it. She googled but she haven't found. She did think maybe I will be luckiest than her. Does anyone know who's in charge of their official Youtube channel?

Thank you.

@Missygreen,
Have you considered emailing or direct messaging the channel? It's very likely that the channel is run either by a third party PR firm contracted by the band or the record label, a department under the purvey of their record label, or directly from the band's management.

@tsarstepan,
Hello,

Thank you very much for replying. No, I haven't considered messaging the channel because it's not something that I see doing it and my friend won't do it. But she will know more about it thanks to your answer.

Thank you again.

@tsarstepan,
Stay away from Incubus' music, look what it's done to that poor sod.

What in the world does "it's not something that I see doing it" mean?

Meaning you don't see the link on their channel, or that it's not something you would do?

And your friend won't click on links and contact that way either?

Then what's the sense of knowing who's "in charge" of their channel if neither of you will simple go to their site, or onto facebook or other social media?

But....you managed to somehow find A2K, sign up, and ask the question.

So if someone gave you a direct answer (if they knew), and you didn't feel this is something you or your friend would do, what's the use?

Contact the record label directly (either Sony Records, Epic Records, Universal Island Records or Immortal Records, depending on discography) and they will forward you any information regarding the PR firm associated with the lp.

@chai2,
That it's not something I would do I meant and Youtube has removed the option to send a private message anyway. Normally, ask to people about it seems easier than send directly a message to official page of famous artists or band because they hardly ever answer. That is also why I said I wouldn't do.

My friend researched about it for a long time but she didn't find (others social media included.)She asked to a few fans too there is one month ago but no one knew. The reason why I asked here. My friend and me are not on Facebook but she is on Twitter. So, I convinced her to send a tweet what she did tonight but she doesn't think it will be answered. She doubts the person who in charge of incubus official page on Twitter ever replied.

It was something she just wanted to know. If she doesn't know it or me, it's no big deal. It was just out of curiosity.

So you somehow found A2k, joined, and posted a question for which even if you got the answer, you or your friend weren't going to do anything about it.

Why would you waste other peoples time asking for information for no good reason? Are you that bored?

I find it hard to believe neither of you thought of, I don't know, actually contacting an entity associated with them.

@chai2,
You can think whatever you want about us. If you don't believe, I don't care. I asked it politely, seriously but there are limits. I joined the forum in order to try to get an answer and not to be judged, critized. I just don't understand this kind of behaviour. Apparently, we have some sort of misunderstanding. Forget it!

Turnabout's fair play: how bored do you need to be to waste other people's time penning responses like this?

Someone was curious about something, thought they'd ask on a website that's after all called Able2Know. Doesn't matter whether they were planning to do something with the information, or it was just idle curiosity. They're not wasting anyone's time, because nobody's being forced to answer. If someone happened to know, or thought of a good way to find out, they could answer the question; if not, they could skip past it and have wasted no more than the 30 seconds it took to read her original post. That's it.

I see this here too often: some newbie user registers and asks a question, about whatever random thing, and they get snarky or hostile responses about how useless their question was. I gotta say, it irks me. What good does it do to go into questions posed by new users about subjects that don't interest you, only to pen successive hostile responses about how bad their questions were? If I came across this site for the first time and saw responses like this, I'd think twice about registering myself.

@nimh,
Yes actually I do get that bored at times that I respond to requests like hers.

So there you go.
