What's the name of the City where "Garfield" takes Places?

What's the name of the City where the 2004 Film takes place? They never say. Some parts look like Los Angeles but some look like they were Filmed on the Backlot of some Studio. I also recognize the Train Station as "Union Station" in Los Angeles but I don't understand why they changed the Name of the Station to "Train Station".
