Foursquare named Time Magazine's Person of the Year?

Pretty self-gratuitous, don'tcha think?

I would have preferred a salute to the many people who have endured natural disasters this year - the floods, fires and storms that left many homeless and the many volunteers who helped with those emergencies.

Wouldn't it be just self-gratuitous if Time Magazine made itself or one its publishers or editors, etc... Time's Person of the Year?

I tend to not really give a dang about who or what is chosen Person of the Year. I'm just in it for the a2k thumbs up. I guess that kind of makes me self-gratuitous. #drat

I am grateful they chose this option and these men and women. They put their lives and the lives of those around them, in danger each time they step forward with the courage to tell the world what horrendous, often illegal activities are occurring.
