Inusuable Touchscreen Digital Camera

My Sony handycam touchscreen is on the fringe! It only works when it wants to. It accidentally got wet, it didn't get very wet, no, not at all. It just got a little damp. I even gave it a few days to dry and it still is messed up.

Also when I look into the lense. The picture is all messedup. You know how there is static on the television, well instead its green and orange--but still. I don't want to buy a new one is I don't have to (its 500 dollars)!
