My wife and I are considering moving to Glasgow, but with all the research we've been doing, we are unable to find out simple things about relocating, such as the average cost of groceries. Anyone out there able to help?

It also depends where you are moving from. House prices are a lot cheaper in most of Scotland, e.g. the average price of a detached three bedroomed house bordering London now is about £400K. For that money, you would probably get a mansion up there.
Beautiful Countryside (Loch Lomond etc nearby) but lots of midges in Summer.
