i want to clear some doubts on superconductivity. y r we not considering semiconductors for attaining supercoductivity ?i hope we can take more advantage of semiconductors as they will have negative temparature cofficient of resistance.so that their resistance can be abnormally decreased by increasing the tempareture!!!!! also we can decrese the resistance further by doping the intrinsic semiconductor with a pentavalent or trivalent atom so it becomes extrinsic.
Superconductivity is expensive and unnecessary to achieve what can be done at a fraction of the price. It's a hard sell.
