actually seeing crowded house at the state theatre in detroit probably ranks in my top 5 concerts

Bella, I'm bummed. I still love to listen to "Don't Dream It's Over...it's such a beautiful song.
What's up with Aussie rock-stars hanging themselves? First Michael Hutchence fron INXS....
"Don't dream it's over..." is also one of my favorite songs.
Very sad to see such tormented people who see no other
way out.

This is sad news ...
I was at their first US performance completely by accident. It was at CBGB's in NYC. I was just there to see a friends band and got annoyed when this unknown ( to me at the time ) band got added to the bill. The annoyed didn't last long. Apparently the whole thing was kind of unscheduled. they had just flown in and wanted to tighten up for their first "big" US shows.
