In British English, youths are male young people.
Is the definition the same in American English?
Thanks.
@tanguatlay,
Youths would be any group (2 or more) of young people, male, female or a combination of both.
youth is relative to reader. an eighty year old vs an eighteen years old reader would define youth quite differently
