I do admit to being a regular local newspaper reader. I take the San Jose Merc to the local coffee shop for my first waker-upper to read the paper almost every day when I'm home.

Me too. I just finally went and clicked on the link.

I have to say that I think it would inevitably be used against us. I don't know what recourse you would have against someone having more information about you than you wanted them to have.
