Today we had a beautiful, pleasant, sunny day. A reprieve from the encroachment of winter. I had the pleasure of margo's company (on visit from Sydney) & we spent most of the day at St Kilda, a sea-side suburb of Melbourne.) Lovely! Lunch, wandering around the craft stalls, coffee & cake .... So much nicer than the usual cold Easter break!

I don't know about you folk in other places, but here the change from summer to Autumn has been more than a little confusing. Instead of the usual post-Easter rain, cool & the odd jumper-wearing days, we've had a spate of over 30 C days! People have been wandering around in their summer clothes (which they didn't wear much in summer because it was too cool, too wet at times....) Yesterday was 34 C! Unbelievable. Then, within the space of minutes, an amazing cool change swept through. If fell from 34 C to 21 C in no time! - wind, rain, thunder & lightning & sudden dark! It was so dramatic the story made the front page of the AGE.:





Today the sun is shining again & it's predicted to get warmer during the week. And I feel more confused about Autumn than I ever have!
