In British English, do we capitalise "between" in a title?
Thanks.
"Between" is a preposition and therefore would only be capitalized if it were the first or the last word in a title. So, The Land between Two Rivers, but Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea.
I might add that this is a universal stylistic convention in English, and does not differ in the American idiom from the British/Commonwealth idiom. The rules are different in other languages, of course.
