Eisteddfod means competitive congress of Welsh bards and musicians, now any several gatherings in Wales for competitions of music, poetry, drama etc, Especially the Royal National Eisteddfod. I'm thinking it's the initials of RNEO but cannot find this in the dictionary. Any the wiser.
