I'm getting a glass display case coffe table made.
The depth of it will be 4 or 5 inches, and will probably be, oh, 3 or 4 feet long. Coffee table size.

I had the idea to put baby doll heads, and maybe other parts in it. I didn't realize how pricy they were.

Want something off beat. Not obscene or anything.

Ideas?

Yeah I really like that idea, but it would be pretty expensive to fill up an area that big. I mean, there could be some arms and legs in there too, but that adds up.

I want stuff I could change out as the mood strikes me.

If I wanted to be average, I could put in bowls filled with different colored dried beans, but that’s boring.

I’ve seen things like that, but it doesn’t interest me.

I’m thinking objects that fill up the space that can be changed out when desired. For instance at Christmas I would fill it with colored balls.

Keep in mind my standard is baby parts, not a nice little terrarium.

Ok, again......quirky.

And cheaper than a bunch of trains or costume jewelry. Both would cost a lot.

Quirky, edgy, random, unexpected.

I really don’t have an interest in a guest saying “oh how nice”

Not obscene or violent, but not at all opposed to creepy, and momentary disconcerting.

I’m thinking artistic expression, not decorative.

However (seriously) enough Barbie doll heads to fill something to the depth of 4 or five inches, and the width and length of a coffee table, would cost a small fortune. Plus the deep frying would stink and attract bugs.

I know there’s plenty of things out there, I’m just drawing a blank.

I love the baby doll head idea, I thought they wouldn’t cost as much as they do. Especially for the number that would create the real “WTF” factor.

Hmmm....just looking on ebay.

Can get a lot of 50 cup size chinese take out containers for about $20.
Batches of cellephane wrapped fortune cookies, and bunches of chopticks for cheap.

I could probably make fortune cookies out of some non food item....

could get clear take out containers and put doll parts in them.... Laughing
