Eat Avocado Seeds?

I think this is a good time to use my diverticulosis diagnosis as a reason not to eat them (even if they have been powdered)

(not too fond of avocados to begin with)

I don't plan to try it, but I was curious about others' opinions.

Yeah, I wouldn't try it unless I knew no part of the seed was harmful.

Avocados have been around a long time yet no traditional recipe seems to have emerged using the ground up pits. Since pre-industrial cultures use every single part of anything available for subsistence, that would be a red flag for me.

Unless somebody produces some research which says so-and-so tribe has used avocado seeds in their cooking for centuries, I wouldn't trust it without some research. Let somebody else be the guinea pig for this.

I do not like them or the seeds, I would rather have beetroot!

Personally, I like both avocados and beets.

wonder what colr wed get if we moosh em up and mix em. Red and green in oil paint gives a real warm BLACK.

But what would it taste like?? You could also try mixing cola & orange juice (about half & half) looks foul but it taste pretty good! Its called Thames Water!
