It's these horrible questions again:-

A Bottle of Chateau Mouton Rothschild 1970 was recently auctioned for what £. £22, £66, £111 (£66 obviously a printing error), £444 or £5,500.

And a reminder for anyone who hasn't seen this question:-

A smilar car to the Ford Anglia 100E designed in 1957, auctioned in 2004 for £200, £725, £1,000, £2,050, £5,000 or £7,800.

Now! as there seems to be a printing error in the wine, I can,t help think there may be one in the Ford Anglia. Your comments are welcome.

Some other puzzles may follow a little later.

Thanks

It appears that Chateau Mouton Rothschild 1970 vintage normally sells at auction for between $100 and $200 (£50 to £110 per bottle see here:

I forgot to add that going by that list £66 is the most likely figure.

Morning Don1

OK I'll go with £66 and let you know when I get the answer. It's a magazine so will be a few weeks before they give answers. Incidently what on earth is your location in England, (Is this some sort of puzzle in itself because I can't work it out).

I would say "Don 1" must be near Blackburn, Darwen or Chorley.

Morning Canada,

These questions don't really make any sense, at a London auction an item say, a paperweight by John Ditchfield may sell for £200, on the same day at an auction in Carlisle the same item may sell for £75.

What condition was it in? What location? there are rich areas and poore areas

The only safe bet is that is was not £22 or £5500, anywher in between is a could be.

You got me in one Carditel Smile

Hi don1, hadn't John Lennon made four-thousand holes in Blackburn?

I heard the news today oh boy
four thousand holes in blackburn Lancashire
and though the holes were rather small
they had to count them all
now they know how many holes it takes
to fill the Albert Hall
i'd love to turn you on.

Very Happy
