Great stuff, DrewDad! Prime example of how one person's nuisance (ice buildup) can become another's aesthetic inspiration. (But you're right: those boys have way too much time on their hands.)

I suspect that 'item' counts as 'high art' when it's that close to the Arctic Circle. In Australia we'd do it in empty beer cans..... now THAT'S culcha!
Being from AK.....
Being from AK,but currently stationed in Germany, and not more than a 6 hour drive from fairbanks in the winter, I would definatly take time out of my schedual to go see these ice sculptures, lol. Yes, manybe that means we alaskans have to much time on our hands, but come on, how often are you going to get a chance to see something like this? :wink:

Nope, I'm sort of stuck with 'ice'. It's the curse of living in a hot climate.....
Well there isn't a whole lot of different names, but it is comenly known not to eat the yellow stuff- like in the movie monsters inc. where the snow monster goes out to make more lemon flavored snow cones, lol
