I have been forced to an al fresco use of the Internet because the IT dept at work are doing their job and forbidding access to 'non-permitted' sites and mail. Bastids!
So the fellow at the cafe says 'We've had some problems with the net being down. You mightn't get on right now'.
I sez, 'Right. I'll have to print the Internet off one day so I can look at it at home without all these connection problems'.
I have the distinct impression he didn't think I was joking.

This one has disabled my Norton Internet security - and already interfered with my start uo menu - I don't know what else it has in mind - therefore I will not be turning my compute on until I have time to take it and get it fixed. I was following the Norton directions to get rid of the beast when it disabled my Norton!!!!!!!
I can post a bit from work - and mebbe me old puter - but I don't expect to be round much for a week or so.

What a bummer, Deb! Working late, the state of your computer! ...Bloody Norton, too! A black day!
Hope you can manage something on your old computer at home ... I'll miss you here at around 11:30 pm!
