PS (not to gus, but all) all my blips of apparent rage aren't about me not being sexy or attractive, though I couch things in personal terms sometimes, I am ok sexy, thanks, but thinking of posters who have low self esteem and how they feel with the volume of posts on a2k about attractiveness and sexiness. As has been pointed out, sometimes not cheerfully, I should stop the worrying about that.

But I do tend to agree with you that this thread has become more of a popularity contest and ego stroking venue than what I am certain it was intended to be....or maybe not!. At least I hope it is all in good fun. I don't need accolades about my own sexiness or lack thereof to feel comfortable with who I am. I didn't come to this forum to be subject to anyones opinions regarding sexiness. I came to be me. To listen, to learn and to share.

If I'm not rated in the top 100 sexiest A2Kers, do I really care? No...not at all. I know who I am, what I am and that is good enough for me.

Lady J. This is just one way of recognizing like minded people. You are absolutely "spot on", however. It's how we appear to ourselves that is the true measure of a person's worth or sexuality. Often the most beautiful women are the ones who are the most insecure, and the biggest hunks are the men who have difficulty with themselves and others.

And yet I don't really want to stop people talking about being sexy or who is sexy/attractive, though it seems I have been acting like I do lately. I'd just get the urge to temper it with some knowledge that people can feel left out.

Osso, it's very difficult to be a balancer. When I taught, I tried to make those budding adults look at every facet of a person's being. Sometimes I succeeded, often not. It takes a lifetime to recognize the entire person behind the facade.

It may seem to diminish those who don't meet that standard--but it only diminishes you if YOU buy into it. I would expect most self-aware women to smile confidently at Brooke's good fortune, and be secretly glad they are exactly who they are--and where they are in life.

Sensuality is in your psyche, and self-image. It just takes others a bit more than a glance to know it.

I've ignored this thread since sexy is probably the LAST thing on my list of things that interest me about A2Kers.

However I simply must bring up Brooklyn....Brooke, you posted 2 pix briefly in a thread and said the first one was so ugly you could hardly stand it, or something like that. I could hardly believe it! You were so stunningly beautiful in both pictures that I was shocked. I thought you'd accidentally posted the wrong (so-called ugly) picture!

But beautiful is one thing, sexy is another....it's Brooke's personality that makes her sexy. Brooke, do not ever think you are ugly, either physically or emotionally. You couldn't be ugly to win a bet, honestly.

For the males I must vote for Zane, never having seen a pix....it's his way of thinking (at least here) that's sexy.

The very joy of A2K is that we are all free to be sexy or not, with no faces and bodies getting in the way. I love that!
