Find the surface area of a triangle prism where the height is 6 cm., the length is 25.2 cm., the width is 6 cm., and the base is 6.3 cm. and 7.2 cm.?
I don't really understand your dimensions, but a triangle prism has two sides that are triangles and three that are rectangles. All you need to do is add up the areas of those shapes.
If the triangle sides are s1, s2 and s3, the rectangles' areas are s1*L, s2*L and s3*L which equals the perimeter of the triangle times the length. The area of the triangles can be found using 1/2 (base * height) If you just know the side lengths, you can use Heron's formula for the triangle area. Don't forget that you have two triangles to count.
Hope that helps.
Doesn't make much sense - how can the base be both 6.3 and 7.2 cm with length 25.2 and width 6? That is four numbers describing a rectangular base so you are only allowed two!!!
