i want to check something how many is there such a thing as a 5th orbit around an atom

if yes how meany protons

if no theareticly is it possible and how meany

and if no again why

Yes - I think Molybdenum, the 42nd element is the first element with electrons in the fifth or O shell.

It has 42 Protons, 42 Electrons and 54 Neutrons

But if you mean how many electrons can you fit in the the 5th shell 32 is the answer!

From an xray spectroscopic point of view, there are an infinite number of shells in an atom, albeit they are concentrated just below the fermi surface.
