even the FTP Methane production from ocean CO2 requires the fatty acids produced by marine algae as a feed-stock material.(and the Nazi diesel and "gasoline" was made from coal kerogen or through fatty acids from lignite) .The "gasoline" had wood alcohol mixed in. thats why there really IS NO such thing as abiotic oil. s I said, a very teeny bit of methane can be produced by inroganic processes on erth but thats not even 1X10-11 amt of the methane produced by biological means like composting manure or clathrate development from ocean critter bad breath and farts.

At the Geneva Convention of 1892, John D. Rockefeller used his paid scientists to contend that as oil is composed of Hydrogen, Oxygen and Carbon, it must be a residue from formerly living matter.

It benefits the Rockefellers because they were selling oil. If oil is supposed to be formed from the rotting of formerly living matter, it must be rare and therefore more valuable.
