Has anyone heard from dag lately? Anything new happening with her?
margo, you sound like Liesl Von Trapp after Rolf kissed her in the gazebo - Wheeee!
Vijayantimala is a Southern Indian Movie Actress and an accomplished Classical Indian dancer. None can match her moves on the screen as her dance movements are fluid while the others seem jerky.
Aishwarya Rai is another South Indian Movie Actress and a former Miss Worls/Universe (?). She played Paro, the childhood lover of Mukherjee in 2000 version of Devdas.
Sorry for being incommunicado. I was, errr, busy. Actually I really was. Workshop ended yesterday, and till then I had no time for anything. Well, I found some time for V. somehow. Nights are long, life is short, world is beautiful.
Leaving will be quite a challenge, but I might be back in January for a few months. Director of the institute here is talking to my director whether they can borrow me for awhile. So, we'll see. Then V. comes to Boston for studies in August. Tomorrow we're going to tell the staff and director here, didn't want to let anyone know while we were working together. I'm nervous, never done such a thing. People here operate so differently. No faking of toughness (something I am so often guilty of myself in the states), they are much more responsible and commited in any relationships. Not just love, but also work, friendships...etc. I have learned a lot about people and myself. Ooops, gotta go to movies with V. Not much time left. Tata
Dangit Dag When are you coming home?
Sorry. On the 20th, at around 11am by train. Should I give you a call from the train at some decent hour, i.e. after 10am? I will, if I can charge my cellphone somewhere. Gah. I don't want to gooooooo!!!!!
Holy Sh-! (huge girlish shriekkkk...this is so good!)
Beautiful, Blissful, I am so happy for you Dag. Enjoy.
Dag, don't call, I'll be in school. I won't even be able to collect you from the train station......

and now back tot the train station, because i forgot my cellphone on a train. scatterbrained fool. they found it tho.
Headache. Tired, cannot shake it. And, the worst of all...it is so QUIET everywhere! Even on the streets, cars are quiet, people are quiet, what's wrong with this town? I can't take the lack of noise. It's deafening!
Quiet!?!?! Wow..... India must be something!

And by one particular Indian
it's true. and he's soooo far away. and in hospital, having tonsils removed, so i won't be able to speak to him for days. life, so unfair!
A perfect time to fill us in a bit!
Plus, it sounds like you have the perfect new housemate if you have a new aversion to quiet...
the new housemate is slightly annoying, but so far he stays out of my way. it only takes a few glares and a few inappropriate remarks. i found out that I can safely deter him and send him off into his room if i start using metaphors like a bad hangover for situations he describes - i don't remember what it was, but when i told him "yes, i know what you mean...it's like when you're throwing up all day and then the moment comes when you're ok and start feeling hungry...so wonderful" he gave me a blank stare and left shortly afterwards. Shock and awe is my ticket.
As for my to be husband, he's still in the hospital, though they'll send him home in 2 hours. He's recovering well according to his brother whom I befriended over the phone already. They are stuffing him with ice cream, so he's not complaining.
I have to check what I wrote so far, probably not much... but now I have to run off to start straightening my visa status, I'm in a royal mess of a situation, though fixable. Will be back with details this weekend though.
Our world famous training team. My husband to be is to my right. the B29 person. Good times.
Yay, pictures!
Nice smile.
