I am sort of engaged. Ummm. Yes. Except for that 'sort of' part. I do realize fully how insane this sounds and expect an unleashment of "what are you nuts?!". We'll see how it goes. All I can say is that it does not feel insane. I'll have a year to figure things out, and there's a good chance I'll be coming back to India at least 2-3 times this year for longer, but that's how it stands right now. Cross-continental, cross-cultural and inter-faith relationship, yet I still feel more convinced about this one than any other before.
I will go hide now and wait the responses out. Should be interesting. Buh-bye!

Taking a tea break, gotta run in a jiffy. Just one fun trivia: since we are both conflict resolution trainers, it plays out in a funny way in a relationship. For example, we have established ground rules for our relationship. We have 17 so far. The way it works is that me or V. take notes during the training and when there's time, we fill in more rules, then the other edits/approves them. Those we'll keep for forever. Conversations are sometimes entertaining, too: "Did I hear you say...", "Correct me if I'm wrong...", "If I may rephrase..."
Sounds like a setting for a joke. Anyway, gotta go STAT. Back later.
