Please Help

The gravitational potential energy of an object is 300 Jules. The maximum measured kinetic energy of an object rolling down a ramp is 280 Jules. How do you explain the difference between the two energies Question

In any real world situation, some energy would be converted to heat by frictional forces.

does the maximum kinetic energy measured account for both translational and rotational(the body rolls)? The exact amount of rotational energy would depend on the moment of inertia of the body involved, but in the absence of heat losses, this could explain the discrepancy, however, it depends on what you mean by maximum kinetic energy, is it net or translational?
