For 3 winter months,no sunshine falls on this village perched on Stadtberg mountain, there is now a plan to put mirrors up to reflect the sun to solve this problem!

Hard to believe, but it's true.

But there're regions in the world, where's no daylught for almost half of a year. So maybe those ~450 life with their winter shadows. Otherwise we know, that sunlight increases our well beeing. Netherless, it sound a bit ridiculous to me ...

I think that it is a wonderful idea. I used to get depressed during the grey, dreary months, when I lived in a more northern latitude than now. Since I moved south, the problem has completely disappeared.

If technology is what it takes to beat the winter blues, so be it!

I am from South Florida, and during the rainy season when I don't see the sun for a week, I get so depressed. I'm moving up to the north, so Heaven help me. I can't imagine not getting any sunlight for more than a few days, much less months!
