Which is clearer:
The trusses are ready to be delivered; however, we are having them held until the ice has melted from the roof so that we can begin truss demo.
or
The trusses are ready to be delivered; however, we are having them held until the ice has melted from the roof before we can begin truss demo.

I would go with the first, but neither is wrong or unclear.
