austin to see our Christmas cavalier!
Congratulations... very cute critter.
We have relatives with a Cav named Divot who is a darling dog; so cute she almost makes me want to forsake Chows.
I can't believe he's five already. He still looks and acts like a pup.
How sweet, he still has that "puppy look."
Cav's Cavalier,
Stood in his retreat,
And on our hearts
Plays a tune dear.
The music so sweet,
Will oft time repeat,
The blessings of our fluffy pets
In long ear.
High five for Cav's fancier
One thing I know, he sure hates that santa hat.
You should have seen him the first time we tried winter booties that were a gift from grandma. He got a look on his face that said "give me doggie Prozac or give me death." We just let him get dirty now.
nice Santa dog.
don't growl at me!
What is highly amusing is that he only growls when he hears dogs on TV. I suppose it's because he can't smell them, lol.
He's adorable, cav. I've got a ten year old Cavalier called Toffee. She's lost most of her teeth now and her tongue lolls out the side of her mouth. Mind you she may have lost her teeth but not her appetite. Last year we dog sat Louis, a friend's German Shepherd. Toffee ate her dinner and then crept into Louis' room and ate his dinner too - we could tell as there was meat sauce all round her mouth!
That night we had burglars. Louis made sure they didn't get in ... poor Toffee was comatose on the bed after eating so much.
very innocent face. sure sign of someone who is naughty when you're gone. hehe j/k
What's interesting is that when we go away, he just goes into his crate and sleeps until we get home. In 5 years, there have only been two accidents, both times because he ate stuff he shouldn't have. Many Cavaliers have seperation anxiety/house destruction problems. We just got lucky.
