what is the relation between particle velocity n wave velocity?

what is the relation between particle frequency n wave frequency?

the velocity of wave propogation has no relationship to the velocity of a particle

if you are talking about an electromagnetic wave which is composed of photon particles which also act like waves...it does not have 2 different velocities

the equation for the velocity of a wave or photon particle:

v = lambda*f

v = velocity
lambda = wavelength
f = frequency

again, question doesn't make any sense because there is no relationship, at least not the way you're phrasing the question.

however, particles can be assigned a frequency...as can waves. the frequency of a wave is derived from the same relationship that i just showed you above for velocity.

the person who defined wavelength for particles was DeBroglie hence it is called the DeBroglie wavelength:

lambda = h/p

h = Planck's constant
p = momentum

this wavelength can be used to assign a frequency from the first equation if you know the velocity
