Oog... 'k, 'Burning Bush' as in Euonymous? And I know that's not spelled right, but if that's what you've got in mind Mrs. SealPoet will try to talk you out of it because it's invasive. She hates that.
Dag: You're moving somewhere near greater Boston? I'm bookmarking this thread for Mrs. SealPoet, who is studying landscape design... she wants to change jobs and all. Finally decided what she wants to be when she grows up.
Me? I know which end of the shovel goes in the ground when she tells me where to dig...
I am just moving to Sommerville. It is a small garden, but since I know didley squat about gardening, I manage to do great harm to it. Sigh.
Is it your garden, or your landlord's garden? Makes a difference in how much you want to spend for plants.

my garden. i can exterminate as many shrubs as i like! and i am working hard towards it.
SP - perfect. Landscaping supplements book-keeping and vice versa. The focus is at different times of the year. My mom did landscape design at radcliff. I was thinking about getting a teaching degree and then doing landscaping during the summer.
Now, euonymous, yes, it's considered invasive. But, up here in new england it doesn't seem to spread much AND in her dark back yard.... i dunno. I already gave up on the idea of akebia (ask Mrs SP about that one!).
