Which of the following sentences is correctly written?

1) You type the word you are looking for on Google.

2) You type in the word you are looking for on Google.

If both are correct, do they mean the same thing?

In your own words, how would you express this concept?

Thank you

@paok1970,
Paok both olay in everyday use but technically either one can have several other meanings yo don't intend. For instance, suppose you'd been Googling when you get a message in Email from Mom, 'You type the word you are looking for on Google.' What she's asking, very awkwardly, is for you to tell her what word you'd been Googling

'Olay' s/b 'okay,' but left it that way 'cause the skin oil somehow qualifies

But in my own words, 'On Google, type the word you're looking for'

Incidentally Ok, if yo've ever used Google, and I'm sure you have, I'm wondering if you had ever noticed Software Glitch # 444,782,093 where there's no suggestion for a typo

Oh and 'yo've' incidentally is not only a reference to Rwanda Yove but is one of the most common missps of 'you've.'

Google search shows a subject box, so I type in the word to search.
