She and I became instant friends when I recognized the aforementioned -- my aunt having raised me on a regimen of such accomplishments -- and we were soon on a first-name basis. Hers was Ruth; nice biblical stuff.
Hi, would anyone explain what the "biblical stuff" refers to? Is the name relevant to the Bible or anything else?
Thank you!
@iclearwater,
It's just a name from the Old Testament. Unlike Jennifer, Courtney, or Melissa.
@iclearwater,
Just a name!
Ruth has her own book in the bloody bible...very rare.
It’s a classic story and very important for bible lovers....also very lovely.

Some of the most beautiful prose in the English language in the King James Version of the Bible....which ought to be read by any serious English student

Yeah! I bet even Jesus didn't get that.
@dlowan,
I think it was just a scam, she'd take loads of money to tidy up people's houses, and only then tell them she wasn't a cleaner after all.
@roger,
He got the entire New Testament
