The Wind

Alone I stand upon this earth,
Weak and weary.

In solitude I walk this surface,
I morn no one, my choices set.

So empty as the wind blows,
Sometimes I feel it's pain.

I feel lost harts and empty souls,
They flow through me

Searching, they seek resting,
As do I.

I hear their words,
They pierce my heart with truth.

The truth that is my own,
They say "forgive your self"

Wind will forever blow,
I will always hear their words

Words that echo through me.
Alone I stand as one.

You should really post this in Original Writing. It's a nice piece. The Poetry forum is more for discussion about famous poets and their work.
